  2. The long wait is over and it was worth it. Bad-assery abounds with this one. Super comfy neck and the Floyd ain't just for looks; very responsive! The Gravelin is a perfect compliment and cleans up nicely with the EVH-eque rolling off on the volume.
  3. Thanks Jim. the 5F1 you linked to is for a tweed amp. I’m looking for one like the one I’ve linked to below. And, I was in touch with Precision Designs atone point — she’s a very nice, responsive person but she wanted several hundred dollars to duplicate a faceplate. https://www.ebay.com/itm/117312967615

  5. I'll just ride my bike over to Radio Shack....wait, what year is it?
  6. I had to use Doxit (I think that's how you spell it) on my NT tube sockets. I sprayed the pins of the tubes and pressed them in and out of the socket not quite pulling it out all the way and being careful not to bend the pins. That would be the starting point and about all the qualifications I have to work on an amp. Perhaps @Dutchmanor @butcher can chime in.
  7. Anyone here tried this? Sounds/looks fun…
  8. Reliving my high school years tonight and spinning a classic from 1984..........I wore this album out back in the day. Even as a teenager, I ignored the 80s "made for radio" tunes and gravitated toward the harder tracks. George Lynch was a monster in those days - killer tone on this one:

  10. That really is something. I love my Miiis. I hope someone here gets this and plays the heck out of it.
  11. You have valves in your heart, Dude. This is why it makes matter.
  12. Church! So sick of the pussification of, “tube tone.” All of the modern replications cannot replace the sound of cranking your shit UP.
  13. Do Valves make pedals better? NO!
  14. Yep.....The Tone King and Synergy products all trace back to the same folks, so they work much the same. It is pretty much a choice of which fits your needs better. For me, I like the idea of having the preamp on a portable format board. And board mountable power amps work well, IMO. Of course the board becomes bigger if expanded to have more than one such preamp.😉 The Tubesteader tube pedals are also good AND less costly, but (IMO at least) not nearly as versatile. Still, if a person wanted multiple preamps on one board (like Dumble, Marshall, Tweed), they take up less real estate. One of these days I need to sort thru all this stuff and offload the extras......🤔
  15. I don't have an Instagram account, so they don't want me as a customer. ???
  16. I was wondering where that went. IIRC I just missed it the last time it went up for sale. I had cash... then... had... 😐🥱😄 It's a beauty. I loathe treble bleed circuits, with the one exception of the TV Jones treble bleed - works fantastically with their pickups. That with the TV Jones pickups would be a far better realization of what I've been shooting for with the Stretchocaster iterations. Plus, just look at it!
  17. almost makes me want an M3!! arniez
  18. "Jim Wagner Humbuckers, Bridge - 9.9k, Neck - 8.2k" Could those be GregWinds?
  19. I have the Neural Morgan Suite. It has the AC20. Nice amp.
  20. The Morgan AC. My ideal setup is an AC channel and a Plexi channel.
