  1. It sounds great until you compare it to an a reactive load attenuator (like the Rivera Rockcrusher). Huge difference in attenuated audio quality compared to a resistive load attenuator like the Weber Mass.
  2. Ugh, it reminds me of the first pedal I ever bought. A Boss Octave OC-2. Everything that came out of it sounded like a turd farting. I hated it then. I hate it now.
  3. I f**king like it. A lot. A god damn road warrior. The stories, if it could talk..... Is this what it used to look like, when new? B&W Standard. Reminds me of Dez Dickersons Standard.
  4. I never really got into this band back in the day. Now I picked up both their album on vinyl, cheap. They were great.
  5. Found it on Tidal too https://tidal.com/browse/album/458571787?u
  6. 0170 a few numbers later than mine.
  7. This for sale by Thunderroadguitars. Cool. But what does the HFC experts say about the pick guard? @cmatthes No asking price on Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/p/DOvxc8KEaPK/?img_index=1
  8. Have you listened to Peter Gabriels latest album? It comes in a Dark side and a Bright side mix. Double CD. Very cool. It's a great album and return to form.
  9. I love this. Thanks.
  10. I come to find that some work better with Marshall's, some with Fender's. The Rivers Rockcrusher is great. But if you are in a rock band the highest volume setting on the Rivera was often slightly lower in volume than what I wanted. I would love one more step on the dial. One louder. It also a bit polite when dampening a plexi. Removes some of the treble edge. But still a very good attenuator. Especially the Rockcrusher Recording. I also have a Swedish built Masterplant attenuator. When it comes to keeping the tone and feel of your amp it's the absolute best that I've tried so far. https://www.masterplant.com/ Stay away from Weber Mass units. No fun.
  11. "Hi, today we are going to compare how to complain..."
  12. I think this one has been posted before years ago. But still interesting.
  13. The only one of the new Marshall pedals that gives me gas is the JVM one. I want to try it someday.
  14. I am about to watch this any day.
  15. Very cool amp. I want one! But hot damn, that was one expensive pedal! 😮 You can buy a JMP 1987X, or a 1989, reissue for about the same price over here.
  16. Man, I miss the 1990's. When drinking heavily and listening to Jesus Built My Hotrod felt like the most normal thing to do in life. Any weekend, any time.
  17. Too bad the person filming that gig was struck by a bad case of VVS – Vertical Video Syndrome. Honestly, why do people keep recording upright? Phones aren’t periscopes! It’s painful to watch, even though it’s the Reverend. Half the band is cropped out, and the “view” feels like peeking through a mail slot. Movies are meant to be wide. So please, dear videographers: tilt that phone sideways. It’s not rocket science, just gravity. 😉
  18. WOW! Beautiful top. And wrap around bridge. Glwts.
  19. I am dumb and I hate small window menu programming. I got lost the minute he started about assigning a separate footswitch, or double footswitches or whatever you can do. Perhaps I'm dyslectic, but I hate shifting through menus and then you have to push button "B" and then button "D" to exit and then buttone "F" to execute and then button "A" to get back to where you started. By then I have forgotten what the fuck it was that I wanted to do. And you can program double functions for the footswitch and tripple functions for the velcro underneath the pedal and use the stereo output to connect to the midi input and switch the switch to blip the blip to get the first sound of the second option.
  20. Just saw this on Instagram. Looks like the 5 neck is to heavy for him now. Put it on a stand or retire it? Or retire the band? What's your opinion?
  21. His name is Rick NELSON and he played them HAMMER gittars for a looooong time. I have never seen them. I just did a search and it seems they have not played a public show here in Stockholm since 1979. According to @crunchee's list above they did a tv broadcast here on october 22nd 1990 in support for the Busted album. I wish I had been there. 😞 They are a band that I still would love to see live.
  22. I like it. Great singer, so nice to hear a new band with a male vocalist that doesn't do cookie vocals or sounds stupid fake angry all the time.
  23. I like it. It amazes me that this little band continues to make great music. No slowin' down.
  24. Thanks. Will watch. I read about this doc and wanted to see it. I've had this uncontrolable urge.
  25. It looks like the bridge is not intonated or set up at all. But I doubt it's a big problem. Buy the guitar and ad 200-300 euros to send it to your favourite luthier to have the frets levelled and dressed and let him do a pro setup on the whole guitar. I am sure that will make it play "as new". That is what I always do when I buy "old wood". A +30 year old guitar always need professional love and care. It's not a flaw as I dare you to hear anything wrong. Set the pickup up right and it will sing. People hear with their eyes, they are morons.
