  1. Feel free to let me help you dispose of any 'mistakes'...
  2. A Special? Not interested-been done to death and there are tons out there cheap used. Why bother? A Tally style at least is more unique and would rawk.
  3. THIS. I have no interest in buying a WMG from anyone other than the guys in CT. The Tally body style could work as McChris described. Reverse Steve Stevens headstock and it'd be perfect!
  4. Looking good!!
  5. One of the heavier Hamers I've picked up was a korina Standard from the limited run. If the guitar is korina and Hamer, it's not what some call 'black korina' (which is not a real wood-it's the crap korina). Hamer rejected anything that was garbage and even a lot of good stuff. If I had that guitar, no way in hell I'd trade it for any Heritage ever made.
  6. I have a note that #7 0013 was in the UK at some point.
  7. Yep. I recall #s 7 0009, 0012, 0013, 0015 and a few other early '77s. I owned #7 0051 for a while.
  8. I've played Sunburst 0013 I'm fairly certain and have pics. It was at BCR for a while as I recall.
  9. That's original. Same tuners as the Hamer Impact prototypes I bought from Kip Winger.
  10. Prototype body (or new 'Phantom', although I never liked that name). It's a solid, sensible, attractive shape with comfortable bevels, etc. Pick your neck/headstock, but the Special is SO played out by everyone out there making guitars. This would not be a Hamer-branded product, I'd assume, but there'd be some marketing 'sense' to a semi-unique original design. Picture this: A Korina Prototype... Mahogany too-pickup options available. Upcharge for extras.
  11. 2013 returned me to 'acquisition' mode after a few years of downsizing and strict adherence to the 'one in/one out' rule. -1981 BC Rich Mockingbird -2009 Gibson FB III -1982 Gibson Explorer -1969 Dan Armstrong guitar -1979 Hamer Sunburst (sold) -1986 Hamer SS II (sold) -1978 Greco faux korina Destroyer project (sold) -1978 Greco EX 800 (copy of Hamer #0000) -Tokai Silver Star (70s-style Strat copy) -1985 Schecter PT
  12. Great band!Saw them in '89 in San Diego on the tour between 'Babble' and 'Chemicrazy'. 'Big Decision' off of 'Babble' got me into these guys-they were even better live than on record. Lots of energy.
  13. I coukd use one for my Fuel Tank on my Pedaltrain, but I'm not sure which model I have (not the Jr and not the stupid huge one).
  14. Hamer's proprietary hardtail bridge from the late 70s. Thru-body stringing.
  15. PM sent. I'm a Kahler fan...
  16. The tough part is finding the large bell. I just sold a plain AND a Cruisebass-inscribed one a few weeks back to an HFCer.
  17. What's this 'effects loop' of which you speak? Nah-I plug in between guitar and amp and just step on what I need. That's what I like about the Morley wah-instant on and off!
  18. Mine is BORING compared to most of these! Add a Bad Horsie wah to this and that's me. Bummed that my original 1980 Phase 90 is on the fritz...
  19. These guys still bring it bigtime. Brilliant.
  20. Becase there was nothing wrong and he didn't want to ship it back when you didn't bend to an attempt to extort a better deal.
