And yeah, but your Grammy and Oscar competition would be stiff. 2 Quote

I have a couple of lightly used kidneys and a promissory note for my second-born child that I’d be willing to trade for a mini Korina standard. Don’t need a kidney or kids but you can look. 😆 Folks laughed when I bought Shorty but with the Duncan Distortion and Seth Lover combo on top of the Korina it sounds great and plays as great. 😎👍🏁 Edited Sunday at 07:51 PM by BTMN 7 1 Quote

Chiquita has a cool riff backed with horns later in the song and a great “where does it stop and where does it end” groove that is classic Aerosmith. One of the best songs on Ruts. Tyler is totally into it and he still wears the Chiquita banana stickers to this day when I see him photographed. It’s a fave of mine. 3 Quote
crunchee Posted Sunday at 09:33 PM Posted Sunday at 09:33 PM One of the main reasons I eventually got rid of my full-sized Hamer Standards over the years was that I was in constant dread of hitting something/anything with the guitar(s) and dinging it up. Weight was never an issue, though. Quote

The absolute heaviest Standard I've ever played was a '95 Korina LE - I wouldn't be surprised to learn that one weighed 12 lbs! 1 Quote

I know that guitar. Purchased new at Haight/Ashbury Music Center in ‘97. I was a millstone, but not too bad both a wide, leather strap. That Standard/TS9 into a JCM800 2204 was pure magic. Quote

I recall that it had some streaks in the Korina, but it wasn't quite "Black Korina". It was gone the next time I stopped by a couple months later. Quote

I don’t know why I was under the impression that you crossed paths with my old korina Standard. I eventually traded it for a newer STD Custom in BCRburst from Platzer. Quote
