But wait, there's more!

What made it worse is that they were trying to sound bad to sound hip and relevant 🤷

So it has nothin' to do with their clit? I'm a novice at these things.

I they where in a bar I'd walk out. Out of time, out of tune and they didn't pussy spit once!!! I watched a stripper pick up quarters with her pussy once! Now that's entertainment!!

Big deal.  You want impressive?  Show me a woman that can pick up the quarter and spit out two dimes and a nickel.

Well...............that was certainly awful. I wonder what their audience...............if they have one, looks like. If they were looking to shock people by the band's name they needn't have bothered, the music takes care of that. Where are the "BUTTHOLE SURFERS" when you need them.

Back around '93 or so I went through a SOD / MOD phase. This was my favorite song from them. It would really piss people off that I controlled the tape deck.

I think the beauty of the Butthole Surfers back in the days is that it seemed like everything from an orgy to a mass casualty event was legitimately on the table at their shows.

That's the thing, I actually was a Butthole Surfers fan from back in '88. Only got to one of their shows (Lollapalooza in VA in '91) but have 4 of their albums that I still queue up from time to time. I'd go for BS at their most chaotic, over Clitspit any day of the week. The Surfers IMO refined that genre and didn't just rely on shock lyrics and intentionally dissonant music.

Still wild to me that not only did Gibby get a degree in accounting from Trinity in San Antonio, but he was awarded "Accounting Student of the Year" while there.

I deeply miss that flavor of Texan and am really happy that a few were still knocking around Austin in 2005 when I got there, kinda the wierdo lifers in the punk, metal, alternative scene and the bars they inhabited. They were mostly gone when I moved back in 2014 because in the four years I was at UF, they got priced out of town along with most of the legit dives. Would have never guessed I got there just in time to see the sunset on all this legitimate transgressive weirdness that had been going on out there for decades. But that is another post.

Yeah, that was painful. Like somebody couldn't find it.

Like when I was 17 in the backseat of my dad's Ford Pinto. Cops showed up.

This is how it’s done…   :)

I’m a fan.  Saw them a few times, one of those times I had the privilege to be in the opener.  Good times!

Jerk Of All Trades is a fantastic album, came out a couple years or so after the record that has Jan Brady.

As to the band that started this thread, not my thing at all.  But, if they’re having fun, that’s cool.
