currypowder Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 Although the Greco I just bought is not nearly the guitar that this one is, it satisfies my desire for a black bound and crowned explorer shaped guitar that I can play out with. I'd be afraid to take this one anywhere where it could get damaged. So up for sale is a phenomenal korina Standard Custom that I got from Kiz a few months ago. The serial number indicates that it's a 2004, but the finish date was 1/3/2005 (per the COC). Condition is like new, I can't find a mark on it. It's been in it's case since I purchased it. Original HSC, case candy and Custom Order Certificate is included. Here are the custom specs per the Custom Order Certificate: Chambered Body Korina Body Hard Rock Maple Top Korina Neck Ebony Fingerboard 9 Crown Inlays No Pickguard I'm looking for $2,400 shipped. Here are some pics that Kiz took (used with his permission, of course). I can certainly take more

He's probly going to have to know the Vintage of the Mutt, before considering. P.S. Bound/Crowned, Black, Korina. O'man , if I was in the position I would buy it in a Heartbeat !

BCR Greg Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 It's the first chambered Standard Custom. It rules. Currypowder is cool folks.Period.
currypowder Posted September 9, 2008 Author Posted September 9, 2008 Is that white binding? It's cream. I guess with the contrast against the black in the pics it just looks white.
Bloozguy Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 That's a 15 on a scale of 10!!! But I can't look at that. I can't look at that. I can't look at that. My new (to me) 97 Standard Custom hasn't even arrived yet so I really shouldn't be looking at that one. Aw heck, I don't have the money anyway...
Devnor Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Nothing says rock & roll more than a black explorer.
Siaip Ciuvas Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 would be perfect companion for my Riff
