Some later Hamers had a spline (sometimes visible in the "crotch", sometimes we stopped it short of the body edge so it was hidden).Very cool in an Albert Collins meets Albert King sorta way.

We wanted to keep as much tele as possible, so we tried to keep the guard as Tele as possible. On the sound; it sounds like a Tele, but a bit more bottom end.
