PRICE DROP... Again!!

FS: 2009 Nik Huber Redwood Dolphin II

Near-mint. I’d give it a 9.8. Like new, just two tiny, tiny marks and little light tarnish on the p/u covers. (See pics) It’s gorgeous! Hand-picked Figured Redwood top. (I got to pick the top myself as a custom order. I even have a pic they emailed me of it being painted at Huber) Light Mahogany back & neck. Figured Ebony fret board with Dolphin 'Standard' neck carve which is a slight V shape with some beef to it. Not a huge ‘58 Gibson, a little smaller, a comfortable feel for most hands. Compound 10-14” radius. Medium Jumbo frets, 1-5/8”. Scale 25.5". Black Tusq nut. Shaller M6 locking tuners. Hardwood rear control cavity cover. Sounds amazing like all Hubers w/2 Häussel Vintage Bridge and Vintage Neck humbuckers. Has w/Push-Push on the tone knob for coil-taps that actually work great. (I like the push-push better than the push/pull type of pot) 100% original except, I swapped the p/u rings with hardwood rings that match the top beautifully. (I have the original crème rings in the case, so no worries – easily replaced if you want) The guitar is featherweight at 6lbs-1oz!! And, hangs perfectly on straps.

This one is rare in that it has a Dolphin inlay at the 12th fret. (FYI: Huber had to discontinue using the Dolphin inlays in the USA as Robin Guitars had a copyright on Dolphins.) So, this one is unique. No fret wear, plays great, perfect action, no issues at all. Kept in non-smoking home. Comes with original Huber case, case candy and signed Huber certificate with all info. These don’t come up for sale used very often.

I’m the original owner. Ordered from Greg at BCR (Authorized Huber dealer). We got to hand-pick the Redwood for the top from Nik’s wood collection. I have a pic of the guitar being built.

I really hate to sell it, but I need to generate some funds for a business expansion. This is not a fire sale, but a good deal on a custom order instrument. Once you play a Huber, you’ll know why these are truly great guitars.

Brand-New (with the special order custom Dolphin inlay and hand-picked top), these sell for well over $5,000. I’d take: $3,500. Insured shipping and Paypal are included. (PP Gift or bank check would be nice if you know me) Lots of excellent references available.
Sorry, can’t do trades on this one.

Gorgeous. Looking at both Hubers on the forum, this baby takes the prize just for the top and the price alone! Someone is going to get a great deal here. :)

Oh Yiss! A BCR sourced Huber.

I have had the honor and pleasure of two.

Never a Redwood though. That is the domain of teh lesser gods, and Poe. Who has like three.

Voted most likely to sound like an Orchestra sitting in your lap unplugged.

I've looked into Huber's thinking I should own one being my last name is Huber. They are $$$$. I decided a used Hamer is as close to a Huber I'll ever get. When I think of Huber's, Dusenberg's also come to mind. Those German's know how to build guitars.
