Montelovesco Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 I remember seeing a Gibson Gary Moore signature model with a P90 on the neck and a humbucker on the bridge.What do you think about this?Does it make sense (beside the fact, if course, that Gary did it)?Reason for my question: I wonder if a Seymour Duncan Stag Mag I have lying around would go together with a P90...

sixesandsevens Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Gibson currently makes the 2014 LP Futura with that set of pickups layout.A buddy of mine has a Lou Pallo signature which is also P90/HB in neck/bridge. It's a cool combo for sure.

I saw that one when it first arrived as Sam was my local Hamer dealer at the time. It took me 17 years to end up with it, but it's awesome!

But you did have to route for the middle P90, didn't you? I've got one of those gold-top Sunburst Xts. Mucho grande neck, but I like it. Swapped some GFS P90s into it. Fun guitar!
