Hbom Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Wow! Just frikin WOW! One of those games I wish "I coulda been a contender" in.
Bobby Marshall Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 The p90 is way sick. Great CO decision.
lang Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 These are obviously his babies. It looks like he had to unswaddle them from their cozy baby blanket to take these pictures. Love these! Good luck with the sale.
veatch Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 pure awesome. I sure wish the money tree was in season at the veatch household. good luck with the sale.
ARM OF HAMER Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 VERY,VERY NICE! and 2 of them! how cool is that?!!!!!!!!! WOW! You were wondering IF there was any interest?
rcgpny1 Posted January 25, 2014 Author Posted January 25, 2014 I wanted to get a couple more pic of them up-----
coolfeel Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 You said you ordered these in 2007? Did you specify not to use pearl for the Hamer logo on the headstock?
cynic Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 +1 for this ^^, and did you also specify the wider gap between the bridge and pickup?
ghamerinfrance Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 I wouldn't.... Good luck, really loverly
rcgpny1 Posted January 27, 2014 Author Posted January 27, 2014 To answer some of the questions...They were bought together...they have consequtive serial numbers...No I didnt specify the headstock logo or the pickup placement. This is how Mr. Danzig made them......both have bookmatched tops and are very close in wieght...would like to keep 'em together
hamerhead Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Nice guitars. How much for the pair (I didn't see a price anywhere)?
cynic Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 OP states "I have the original hard shell cases and would like to try and get $3800 for both."
hamerhead Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Jeez, I should wake up a little before trying to read stuff. Mister Completely.
bubs_42 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 If you don't mind rcgpny1 could you reply to my PM that I sent you. Thanks
django49 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Better pix, serial numbers and copies of the COAs would be useful. COs can include most anything, but features are a bit different from most later year Hamers. Viva la difference, but it would be useful to know HOW custom they are, including which pickups are installed. For the total dollars requested, full info would help assess the value to a buyer, assuming a person is not close enough to evaluate them in person.
ARM OF HAMER Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Would be the thing to do and a must in the sale of high ticket items,if these are what they are being represented to be I would have to believe the seller has them............. but I don't think the fact that he has not posted them for everyone here is a red flag. I would want all info PM'd to me along with photos of the COAs before I'd be plunking down that kind of coin.Only takes a minute to snap a couple of better PICS and provide that info for sure.As far as them being suspect I think this would be the wrong pace to post something like this and try to slide it by the members of the Hamer Fan Club.A friend of mine is very interested in the Humbucker Sunburst but it does not sound like he wants to do separate sales.
rcgpny1 Posted January 27, 2014 Author Posted January 27, 2014 The listing seems a bit suspect... Better pix, serial numbers and copies of the COAs would be useful. COs can include most anything, but features are a bit different from most later year Hamers. Viva la difference, but it would be useful to know HOW custom they are, including which pickups are installed. For the total dollars requested, full info would help assess the value to a buyer, assuming a person is not close enough to evaluate them in person I only partially understand as all Hamers are pretty much custom...but when a company makes instruments that arent part of thier catalogue they are special. They have made a good number of these even though not in the catalogue over the years, but these are "one-offs" not instruments that were part of their regular run. They are also in all probablility sold.
