bubs_42 Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 BK didn't you own one or two of them over your time here? Quit selling them! Your welcome.
Bluesking Posted August 12, 2015 Author Posted August 12, 2015 I've had two and still can't believe I sold them.
Bluesking Posted August 17, 2015 Author Posted August 17, 2015 *Cue awesome hypnotizing voice* Relinquish your BCR Jr to me.............Relinquish your BCR Jr to me.............
tripp2k Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 How does one identify a BCR Jr? I may have one. Not sure I want to part with it. TV Yellow. My Korina isn't going anywhere. It's in storage so I don't have it with me.

It's in storage so I don't have it with me.IIRC, it has a thinner (depthwise) headstock, has vintage Kluson-style tuners, and an old style wraptail without saddles or compensation. The thread that introduced this limited run is where the saying "intonation is for pussies" originated.I don't know which P90 but I'd guess it was a special wind too, or maybe a Rio Grande?
tripp2k Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 The Jr I have came with 2 tailpieces, one an old style aluminum and then one that is adjustable. The old style was on it when I got it. The Reverb listing no longer has pics. I'll see if I have some with me. It was made in 2005 if that matters.
Joe G Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 This thread has the info and pics:http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/topic/13828-hit-me-with-those-hamer-bcr-jr-pics/?hl=bcrjr#entry147577
veatch Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 This guitar is on my bucket list. Not that I have a thing for P90s....
tripp2k Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Seeing all those Juniors gives me a boner. LOL! The Korina I have rings like a frickin' bell. I look at it and it resonates. The TV is different but what a sweet plank. I'll have this guitar in my hands on the 21st and will see what if it might be a BCR. I'll keep her with me this time.
currypowder Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Here's a closeup of the headstock and wraptail on my BCR Jr. As you can see, the headstock quite a bit thinner than a typical Hamer. From what I understand, the bridge on this one is a 50s Gibson bridge that Greg installed. Sorry BK, I'm not willing to part with it.
Bluesking Posted August 19, 2015 Author Posted August 19, 2015 Man, posting pics of Jrs that you won't sell in a "WTB BCR Jr" thread is just cruel. Now, somebody sell me one.
Bluesking Posted August 19, 2015 Author Posted August 19, 2015 Now, somebody sell me one. Nope. Showoff.
velorush Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Now, somebody sell me one. Nope. I don't just want one, I want that one!
JohnnyB Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Anybody know which dogear P90 was installed in these?

Errrr...I think your unwound G is getting a little too frisky with that D string.
