Here is a little different Fender "TELE" for ya.;)1zx1qgx.jpg

Looks like the kind of build that either Will Ray or John Jorgensen would spec. Very cool.

Maybe because its a Jorgensen Model??? ;)

The Will Ray one is pretty cool, my local shop had one as well and it was fun.

Lol. Shows you how I am both behind-the-times on signature model Fenders AND still intuitive about blingy Teles (My eyesight has degraded too much to make out his name on the headstock or COA). The last Jorgensen model I recall is the MIJ reverse-headstock Strat with split coil Electric XII style pickups. Now, that was a cool, rare piece.

I traded a '97 T-51 and '95 Studio for a '98 Artist Custom to kaseygree on this forum, so I've been out of owning a Tele style guitar for a couple of years. I bought a Reverend Pete Anderson Eastsider T guitar (I know sacrilege!) from a forum member on TGP a coupe of months ago. It's a really nice Tele guitar with great playability, resonance, and modern features. I like it better than the Fender American Standard Tele that I was about to buy. I'm going to swap out the stock pickups soon.

I didn't see one of these here yet...........................they ARE incredible guitars. Not sure if it makes it as a pure "Tele" .............more of a Tele/Les Paul. A guy I know picked up one of these used. [For over 3K BTW!] There have been issues with getting these guitar built and delivered but that is another story...........guitar is a .Ian Anderson "Standard"  Its there not someone here on the HFC that owns one of these?   6eorrm.png

Keepin' it simple: 2009 Fender American Vintage '52 Telecaster.

In 2009 I told my wife, "Hey, I know what you can get me for Christmas -- one of those '52 Tele reissues I'm always talking about." I didn't think she'd actually do it. But she did. :)

When I think of a Tele... that's IT!

Funny... I've never owned a Tele...

I had so many problems with my computer and Photobucket but I finally got some pictures loaded. Its not a feather but its not an actor. Sound really good but the neck pup is so dark and the middle position hollow and thin. So Mr. Gravelin is winding me a set full of Magic. ;)

Now what did I do with that SG???

Your comment makes me wonder if it would be worth the expense and time to ship the guitar to Josh so he can hear exactly what kind of guitar his pups are going in.

He does pretty damn good with a little information. ;) I told him what I liked, who I liked, details of the guitar and what pickups I have in it. He will nail it i'm sure of it. :)

True.  The p-90 neck pup he wound for me was dropped into a mirage maple top is top notch.

Back to the top with one that really cracked me up.

Not mine and maybe not really a Telecaster. But it could be considered the all around tele. :D
