ARM OF HAMER Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 I played a Will Ray Tele here the other day at Lavonne's Vintage guitars in Savage Mn...................very cool! looked just like this one.

Maybe because its a Jorgensen Model??? The Will Ray one is pretty cool, my local shop had one as well and it was fun.

Shows you how I am both behind-the-times on signature model Fenders AND still intuitive about blingy Teles (My eyesight has degraded too much to make out his name on the headstock or COA). The last Jorgensen model I recall is the MIJ reverse-headstock Strat with split coil Electric XII style pickups. Now, that was a cool, rare piece.
ARM OF HAMER Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 No Tele here but you mean this Jorgenson Strat................

Hamer95USA Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 I traded a '97 T-51 and '95 Studio for a '98 Artist Custom to kaseygree on this forum, so I've been out of owning a Tele style guitar for a couple of years. I bought a Reverend Pete Anderson Eastsider T guitar (I know sacrilege!) from a forum member on TGP a coupe of months ago. It's a really nice Tele guitar with great playability, resonance, and modern features. I like it better than the Fender American Standard Tele that I was about to buy. I'm going to swap out the stock pickups soon. Guitar George

A guy I know picked up one of these used. [For over 3K BTW!] There have been issues with getting these guitar built and delivered but that is another story...........guitar is a .Ian Anderson "Standard" Its there not someone here on the HFC that owns one of these? Must have missed this. I have this one... Ian's pics... My pic...
The Shark Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Other "Tele" guitars currently in the mix... The Heavy Stud... The Chandler Telepathic (featured in Guitar Player Magazine)... And the Danocaster Mongrel all customized with Josh Gravelin pickups...

ARM OF HAMER Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 How about one of these? "NACHOCASTER" BY Nacho Banos. Aged Tele Blackguard clone.

In 2009 I told my wife, "Hey, I know what you can get me for Christmas -- one of those '52 Tele reissues I'm always talking about." I didn't think she'd actually do it. But she did. When I think of a Tele... that's IT! Funny... I've never owned a Tele...
bubs_42 Posted October 30, 2016 Author Posted October 30, 2016 I had so many problems with my computer and Photobucket but I finally got some pictures loaded. Its not a feather but its not an actor. Sound really good but the neck pup is so dark and the middle position hollow and thin. So Mr. Gravelin is winding me a set full of Magic. Now what did I do with that SG???

He does pretty damn good with a little information. I told him what I liked, who I liked, details of the guitar and what pickups I have in it. He will nail it i'm sure of it.

The p-90 neck pup he wound for me was dropped into a mirage maple top is top notch.
bubs_42 Posted October 30, 2016 Author Posted October 30, 2016 We are working on something else, I just need to find the correct guitar to test them out in. I am sure its going to super awesome!

Hbom Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Back to the top with one that really cracked me up. Not mine and maybe not really a Telecaster. But it could be considered the all around tele.
