Really more than I need. I will probably sell the more expensive one just because the "simpler" one fits me better.

tbonesullivan Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Oh nice! That's an earlier one too, when they still were using real reverb tanks. They've added some features since then as well, but that is still a fantastic amplifier. They don't make the 30 watt version anymore, just the 50 and 100.

But I will add one more thought.....With an Ethos Overdrive in front of my Mesa Blue Angel (after lots of experimenting with tweaking those 19 or so knobs and switches, mind you!) I ended up with virtually all the tone at much reduced cost. And I might also say with greater tonal versatility with those 3 footswitches. For all the times I played out with that rig, I NEVER had to reach down and change any settings to get what I wanted. I could do it all (well, within my limited abilities) with the V and T knobs on the guitar and it's coil split.
