PSA: Fuchs ODS 30W

Not cheap, but well worth it, IMO. Consider also the ODS-II, which takes it to another level.

FWIW, I tend to keep going back to the original ODS. The ODS-II does offer more. Really more than I need. I will probably sell the more expensive one just because the "simpler" one fits me better.

Fabulous Amps, and those prices ain't coming down unless everything crashes. Equally as impressive are the Casino Line.

One of the guitarists in my band has the Blackjack and its a great sounding amp.

Interchangeable for 4 6V6 or 2 6L6.

The early Fullhouse 50's were 4 6v6's and I have never come across one. I really really really wanted one of those.

Oh nice! That's an earlier one too, when they still were using real reverb tanks. They've added some features since then as well, but that is still a fantastic amplifier. They don't make the 30 watt version anymore, just the 50 and 100.

Brought this home today.  Fantastic clean and OD. You guys are a bunch of enablers and I sure appreciate it.

I'm sorry, I can't get past the name of the Fuc*s amp, no matter how you pronounce it.  I love my Two-Rock Jet 35.

Eh…. You just need to pair up the Fuchs with the right amp to compliment the tone. Perhaps a wet/dry Fuchs-Wangs setup..?

Yes!  Koch/Fuchs/Wangs in a wet/dry/wet, makes for an orgasmic tonal experience.

Who needs a Dirt Pedal anymore?

Most always. When used correctly (just a pinch of pedal) they're fantastic seasoning. Even my Two Rock Classic V3 needed spice. The only amps I never used a pedal on were my FUCHS ODS amps.

You mean, some dirty minds of us HFC-brethren do not translate enough into really filthy tonez? 😇

I agree. But I will add one more thought.....With an Ethos Overdrive in front of my Mesa Blue Angel (after lots of experimenting with tweaking those 19 or so knobs and switches, mind you!) I ended up with virtually all the tone at much reduced cost. And I might also say with greater tonal versatility with those 3 footswitches. For all the times I played out with that rig, I NEVER had to reach down and change any settings to get what I wanted. I could do it all (well, within my limited abilities) with the V and T knobs on the guitar and it's coil split.

I love the BAs. Fantastic amplifiers.
