specialk Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 Even though it has the fatter neck, I could learn to love that.
The Shark Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 If that sells for above 3K, I know where you can get another one!
hamerhead Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 That looks great, but black guitars are like black cars: you clean them more than use them.
Feynman Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 What if you don't use your guitars at all? Do you still have to clean them? I'm kind of glad that I'm a little anti-victory-inlay, and that for me the spruce top is important on a Newport. Mind you, I don't know why I think the spruce top is important, but there it is. That's a beautiful guitar, and I doubt they'll have any difficulty selling it.
scottcald Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 And it's gone. Anyone here get it? 12 hours ago, Feynman said: 'm kind of glad that I'm a little anti-victory-inlay Yeah, the defeat inlays were much better. 🤣
soli'd Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Love the looks of that one, but I'm with @Feynman, it's gotta be a spruce top. As for the inlays, the problem for me is more the number of them than the type.
soli'd Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 As a side note: that seller has some other really unique guitars (and other gear) for sale in their shop. https://reverb.com/shop/mmguitarbar ETA: this standard reminds me a lot of @BTMN's ultimate. minus the chickenhead knobs
