Very nice overall. Just a couple minor marks on the body. No Hameritus except for on the nut. Original electronics and hardware as far as I know. I had Lollar P90s in it briefly, but they're back in my Special and the original Duncans were put back here. Ships in non original HSC.

Acker Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 I tried to get my wife on board for her birthday gift but we have a major renovation coming up and will have to pack up all of the guitars and gear. We both really like the Vanguards but will have to wait for another chance at one. Sadly, sensibility prevails. Good luck!

Well, I did just get a 1981 Vector less than a month ago so I can’t complain too much. This is the second Vanguard I’ve been tempted by. The other one had a hairline crack at the headstock and I went for a NOS Studio Custom gold top instead. It was a good choice.
BruceM Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 If I didn't already own one I'd be all over this. Definitely one of my favorite guitars, and it routinely gets played at the 4-3-2-1 parties. Plus, it looks fantastic under stage lighting. I'll check with my local guys and see if anyone is in the market.

Hfan Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 It’s beautiful. So much guitar for the money. The neck shot showing the edge of the fretboard with the silver finish struck me. Looks like Madagascar maybe? I do have an obsession with Hamer fretboards though. Not without good cause.
