If I'm completely honest I bought this from a friend in a cover band who just constantly goes through guitars all the time trying new things. I'm not really planning on keeping it although I do like that it's lightweight. Floyd Roses just aren't my cuppa tea. I believe that serial makes it a 93. It has some small dings but everything requires looking at it up close to spot.

Is Jon the only original member left? I'm going to dig in the CD collection and dust them off today. Thanks for the reminder. -

Saw this package last night in Germany at the „Keep it true“ festival. Never been much in the later two and want only to see the Savas. Man, what a blast. Perfect show, perfect setlist, a great run through the bands history. I know the guys are big in the States with the TSO, and I never heard much of that stuff. But if you ever got the chance to see them - go.

Ed Rechts (Jay Toland) was also in that band - there's a story about how he was unceremoniusly dismissed going around. They used to play quite often at JAXX' in Springfield, and I caught them there a number of times, mostly when Chris/Turdus was in the band. The club had framed pics of the bands/artists that played there all over the walls. The Vollmer pic was taken on the JAXX' stage during the Rechts year/months. I saw Jay in there once (maybe an Ace Frehley show?), and pointed out that somebody had broken the glass on the Vollmer pic and Sharpied him out of the pic. He thought that was funny as hell! You could barely make out the Hamer FBIV he was playing at the time. Turdus still plays with the remnants of the Vollmer band around NoVA - it's been a while since I've been over that way to see a show, but they're still a really solid hard rock cover band, and I'm long overdue for catching them.

Congrats on EVERYTHING, sir! You've got a fantastic year ahead. Cheers!

...I went to the darkside. Bought a VHT Two-Fifty-Two power amp to run the Imperial/IR-X preamp setup through and even through a CE-2w in to throw into the CE-1 setting and do a just-barely-chorus for a stereo set-up. Selling off several heads and probably going to a Synergy Syn2 module set-up soon enough. I also have the Banker build finishing (hopefully) this fall and just bought an engagement ring, so that has hit the old bank account, but I'm hopeful I've accounted for everything well enough. I'm really enjoying these modular and/or pedal-format preamps. Just enough software to be able to do a few cool things while keeping a mostly analog work-flow is kind of the best of both worlds for us dinosaurs too stupid and hardheaded for something like a quad cortex.

Is the phrase, "It's a reminder of what's to come," correct?

Up for sale is Nacho Telecaster Whiteguard. Comes with a hardshell case. This guitar was made in 2022, and I bought it new in early 2023. It's in an excellent condition -- the frets have some wear, but the guitar is otherwise in a mind condition. I included a detailed spec sheet in one of the picture. I can do $5,500 includes shipping and PayPal fees for a HFC member.

Love Sammy, love VH, but that one is one of my top ten most inane lyrics. That said, the one that absolutely ruined an otherwise great song for me was this one in the second verse of Mr. Kravitz': "We've got to hug, and rub-a-dub" I enjoyed the song for years until someone pointed out that line. -

Thank you for dealing with this Ted. I still think there may be some bot issues like i mentioned back in March. https://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/topic/105363-hfc-performance-issue-the-details-if-interested/page/2/#comment-1189351 A few minutes ago, there were 31 pages of mostly 'guests' looking at the board. They weren't all looking at mostly the same thread this time, but it was obviously excessive. I checked again just now and it was like 4 pages, a lot more 'normal'. -
