I've been there. Chis's show was amazing. Adding Alice Cooper oddities it must really be intense! I saw AC at the beginning of the Billion Dollar Babies Tour. Best concert I have ever attended. Huge Spiders coming down and tapping people out of the rafters. You cou hear the screams. All the while a incredible stage show going on. Just a fun spectacle!!!

....and keep in mind what "N.S.U." stands for on Cream's first album (1966) That established, some folks have opined that the live version on the first live album is arguably the ultimate live song by them, no small accolade considering that Cream established their own boundaries in performance. They really went balls-to-the-wall/take-no-prisoners on that 1970 version of "N.S.U." And it has the arguably greatest drum riff ever (twice) starting at 9:26.

Kelly roomed w/ my drummer pal from the Skynyrd tribute I joined when I moved to Raleigh in '93. Back then I was also friendly w/ Jason, who in recent years has done several tours w/ C.O.C. PS - my all-time fave bands are Sabs & Zep, but both their debuts pale in comparison to their latter work IMFO. VH gets my vote

I checked uncle acid out awhile back while perusing sab-ish stuff, their studio stuff doesn't hit like that live vid! -

Thoughts on Amp Modeling & Neural Captures
RobB replied to santellavision's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
I like this idea. God knows I have plenty of dirt/mod/delay pedals to cover the bases. I’m going to sell my IR-X soon and give the SimplifierX a whirl. The dual fx loops sold me, even though it doesn’t have tubes. I’d like to try my Menatone TBIAC for clean/od and Mad Prof 1 for distortion. I can’t imagine needing anything more for my purposes. -

Thoughts on Amp Modeling & Neural Captures
HamerHokie replied to santellavision's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
This is exactly why I have been using pedal preamps instead of modelers. A good tube based pedal preamp, plus different voiced overdrives, gives me everything I need. I will probably never find my 'ideal' setup but the Tubesteader Roy preamp (Vox AC30) plus the Kaluna Drive (Plexi) and a transparent OD (currently the EH Soul Food) does the job. -

Just a day after we were discussing Mastodon it looks like a lesser known band call Big Hairy Elephant played at the EARL here in ATL. It's one of my favorite places in town to see a show and holds about 100+ people. I was apparently not in the loop. https://stereogum.com/2511253/mastodon-play-secret-atlanta-tour-warmup-with-live-debuts-rarities-baroness-john-baizley/news -
