I was just at the Gibson Garage yesterday, and asked if they were ever going to do factory tours again. One gal didn’t have a clue, one guy said he just started working there, and a third guy (over in the Epiphone section) said he doesn’t think so, since so many people just like to shop there and buy/order a new Gibson (or Epiphone, or Kramer). 🤔 I personally think they’re really missing the boat…walking around there just felt like being in a well-kept, highly stocked GC. The whole point of doing tours is to let people see the way things are made and that honestly gets most people more fired up and more likely to buy something.
