I got to watch Stike play with The Supersuckers, if that counts. I’ve played in opening bands for several “name” artists/bands over the years, but only actually shared a stage once with G.E. Smith and maybe a few other names that might not be familiar to people outside of the Mid-Atlantic/Carolinas area (Cliff Hillis, the late Parthenon Huxley…maybe a few others). I have managed to not stink up the stage too badly with a bunch of HFC’ers, and played in bands with the legendary Turdus and still play with Elduave.

They usually rotate Rick Pemberton and Kevin Holden on lead guitar.

I don't have a clone either, but my "sweet spot" for amps seems to be in the 18w-30w range, and anything bigger than the 18-watters are more for bigger rooms/outside use only. I think the only amp that's gotten my palms damp recently was a Marshall SV20, and I really don't want to spend the money for one. The Boogie will likely be moving along soon. I custom-ordered it in 1989, but rarely play it any more. More into the 3 Monkeys stuff and my TM60.

For some reason, I think the original batch of black ones was 12-13, but I think it ended up being closer to double that.
