  1. @Camstone is great to do business with and @django49 is right about how great that Dantzig model looks.
  2. This x 1000. I don’t usually bring GR up but his playing on this live album just killed and made a huge impression on teenage me as I wa# learning to p,at. He sounded so aggressive, fast, and fun. And yeah, the 157 break was too cool. Keep Pushin’ such a good tune. And that live version of Ridin’ the Storm Out was definitive. So much so that I used to know Gary’s solo and fills note-for-note. He could rip in A on the 17th fret and above….
  3. This is awesome. Might be just killer for recording.
  4. Mercy on top of mercy, @Victor (Fret Friend)! Congrats on a successful surgery. Prayers that your recovery goes as well.
  5. That was cool. Stripped down with no place to hide.
  6. D’addario XLs have occasionally unwound at the ball end of hi e strings while stringing over the years. It happened enough to make me upgrade to NYXLs on all my guitars. Those are string perfection for me.
  7. You can see the “Gristle King” pedal on the lower board…
  8. Praying the Holy Spirit brings comfort and strength for you and yours during this time, brother. A very close friend just went through this. May the Great Physician Whom you serve bless you, keep you and cause His face to shine upon you. Catch you on the other side as you recover, Victor.
  9. I believe that was the same tour. Those names are some I haven’t heard in a long time…Wicomico was a great venue!
  10. @cmatthes, if that Foghat/BOC show was at the Spectrum in 1981 or 1982, Whitford/St. Holmes opened. Diane and I were there.
  11. Just sent a second track (rough mix blues-rock instrumental)if needed.
  12. The MXR one is the perfect solution, IMO. No chance of blowing your amp and you don’t need a separate amp. I love mine.
  13. I bet a non-guitar playing employee graphic designer type picked the Dean photo and thought it was the same brand.
  14. A prophet among us…
  15. I mean, call it the MUSIC Hall of Fame, and I’m cool. But it is the RNR HOF. And no matter how cool and helpful he may have been to Bowie (and others) Vandross (to quote Mississippi Fred McDowell) does “not play no rock and roll”. Not when GFR, Nugent, Styx, and Kansas (among others) are excluded. It’s bullshit. I should say, I love Ronno’s playing on Spiders.
  16. I’d like to see the Museum but the Hall itself is a joke… a bad joke at that. I’ll restrain myself and STFU before I say something that gets me banned or just pisses someone off. No need for that 😎🎸🎶
  17. Curious how these sound as a recording solution….
  18. I need to find my first guitar instructor in Delaware when I was 17….he was a HUGE influence on me. Plus he got me high in the bathroom lol. Hey, it was the late 70s/early 80s.
  19. I just finished mastering mine. What file format do you prefer, @kizanski, WAV or MP3?
  20. @veatchwas not your most recent a Modified Super-C? Or am I mistaken…?
  21. I haven’t played a Daytona but I assume the bridge pickup is connected to a tone pot? If so, turn it down, way down if needed. If it is not connected to the tone pot, make that happen. If you need something darker and/or beefier, contact @JGravelin. He can wind a Strat pickup that is strongly p90 in character. That won’t be harsh and will rock.
  22. Bless you for helping her. That Ric is beautiful and so is the acoustic. GLWTS
