  1. Satisfaction Brown Sugar Think About it (Yardbirds) Day Tripper Communication Breakdown
  2. Good deal on a good case. For Fenders this time.
  3. My fave Rush album is the first one without Peart…before they found their sound. I love that album. I never saw them but if they come to KC I might…
  4. I built one of these a decade or so ago and I found it to be the perfect Tele style, even if not a Tele. I’d own another in a heartbeat. I don’t think that Super-Vee Maverick vibrato is original. It’s not found in the ad copy and I remember when these came out they had a typical 3 barrel bridge. But maybe it is, who knows? A respected luthier friend tried one of these Mavs and was underwhelmed with the performance. But I love the idea of a Tele type with a Strat type vibrato.
  5. I have seen vids of her playing with Billy Strings….she is a fantastic guitarist.
  6. Nice Daytona! GLWTS and hang in there. I wish it had a maple board.
  7. Screaming Blonde is a wild success into an API desk preamp into my recording DAW. I even loved the Tube Screamer into a BF amp tone! BF amps jus5 dont work for me. But for recording, this one sure does. I need to try it into a power amp next for live applications. The Blonde setting is do die for with no TS and being pushed by a Tally. I will use this a lot.
  8. My current “Strat” is a 2013 Legacy in sonic blue with an ebony board I bought here back in what, 2021. It is a really nice guitar.
  9. I use a Rangemaster clone in front of my Liverpool and in front of my TopHat Cluub Royale with great results…in fact, all my amps love a good treble booster!
  10. HiWatt is the British Muffin, London Muffin…something like that. HiWatt with a Big Muff fuzz a la David Gilmour.
  11. Well, if that is true (and it makes sense that it is) what did Irsay do wrong? He must have had good negotiation skills to convince Indy to do that…and Indy must have believed the city and taxpayers would recoup monies spent via tourism, accommodation taxes, etc., as Mr. Haynie stated. OTOH, I’m still pissed that Bob Irsay took my team out of Baltimore in the middle of the night back in 1984!
  12. Well, only one is a “screaming” deal, @cmatthes lol
  13. And I just ordered the Screaming Blonde for three reasons: 1. It’s called the Screaming Blonde. 2. This will be my last attempt to get a Blackface Fender circuit to work for me. 3. For silent recording when needed. Thanks for the heads up.
  14. @RobB I have used the Liverpool for years as a silent recording option and even as a direct to board option when a quiet stage is demanded. Works just great.
  15. Just finished the video and could not be more impressed . He acts like a regular guy and (gasp) has humility, which is a rare trait among artists. What a great hang. I loved him explaining the difference between Eruption tapping and Hot For Teacher tapping. Then he plays an off the cuff example of each as if it is as easy as playing the major scale. I love his recording process too.
  16. Dude is an absolute badass. I like him! A very 90s sound. I LOVE that he does his own thing and not VH4.
  17. What did he do to make money that was illegal? I am truly asking.
  18. Dibs if @Camstone passes.
  19. That all makes sense, @Travis
  20. His dad didn’t teach him??? He sounds more like EVH when he wants to than any other guitarist I’ve ever heard . He has the King’s chops and his SWING. Must be the DNA.
