I love Steve Morse as a guitarist and person. He was always a brilliant musician who put the guitar down and cut his hair to become an airline pilot because he beat himself up about taking care of his kids and family… That’s a tough guy, to me. And still had so much music in his head that he came back to lead fkn Kansas and Deep Purple as well as his own amazing music. Mad Love and respect for this guy ❤️

So cool!!! When I lived in a bigger place I bought both black and white versions of the 80s mini stacks. I think they look best alternating in a checkerboard pattern for obv reasons lol. (Please excuse the Changus in the foreground, it was a 50th Bday present to my Bestie.) Both of my amps are not great for me, but I love the cabinets particularly. Someone here (maybe Brooks?) swapped a speaker for a 10” Ragin Cajun and ran with a Powerblock and had some rave reviews- would be interested to hear more about that. And someone else (maybe Stike?) repurposed Marshall mini cabs as shop speakers, which I thought was a super cool idea. Did they swap speakers or use the stock cones? 🤔 Have you tried the SJ mini head with any different cabs?

Some thoughts: an insert cable is the cheapest and easiest “Y-cable” solution. The 3-position switch is likely Electric-Both-Acoustic, with first knob as master Elec Vol, and normal-tone-position as Acoustic Vol. The extra toggle would be great if it was to disconnect the Fishman and battery when just using it Electric? I love my Duotones best, but I’ve tried using Fishman bridges- I couldn’t get it to work and also power a set of EMGs. Please let us know what the wiring scheme turns out to be!

I use Logic as a DAW, but if the one you’re using is based on PT, GB, Logic, etc it’ll have similar features; If you’re sharing files (in a Dropbox or just back and forth) you can make notes in the notes sections for tracks or overall in the project, and obviously section markers. In Logic at top left and on top of the timeline you can make notes “verse, chorus, bridge” or you can use the same thing just for the comments you mentioned.
