Holy Sh!t!! first the Newport 90 and now this! I like that body style much more than the Monaco. I do think it's strange that the headstock is bound and not the neck though?!?

Anyone have the MSRP on this?

$3,800 in 2007

That seems about right. I was afraid they would pull a Special K and want 5K for it. IMHO that is a very reasonable price for that model. I also dig the fact that it is 25.5 scale.

GREAT JOB HAMER!!!!!!!!!!!

All it needs is a wrap tail, HBs, a belly cut and we're good to go!

So I take it this model will debut at winter NAMM and hit stores shortly thereafter?

You'll be happy to know that by the twelfth fret the V inlays almost look centered.

I'd like to see more pictures. So far, it doesn't look like enough of a departure to be considered a seperate model. It's cool but it looks kinda like a Monaco. Doesn't it?

Not really. Upper horn is kinda Huber-like, lower horn appears to be that of a Watson. And shelfless too!

But I agree, I'd like to see a straight on shot.

Nope - I think that is WAY more Tele-like than Monacoesque.

One "thousand pound Tele", coming up!

You're probably right. Let's see more pics!

Definitely more Tele than Monaco. How cool would it be with a pointy headstock!

Very badassed imo.

Spoke with Jol real quick. He says some are going out to artists and they should start shipping for dealers after the 1st of the year. There should be a video on the Hamer site soon, similar to that Jol/Seymour clip. The Talladega has been in the works for about a year. Finally, Jol says it will do "what a Tele will do and a whole lot more". Can't wait!
