cornjulio Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 I'm selling my Red Archtop Sunburst U.S.A. I believe it's a 1991. It's in fantastic condition. It's original except for straplocks and knobs but I I have the original knobs and I'll include them. There was a finish crack below the headstock which was fixed by Real Guitars S.F. You can't feel it, there's no damage to the neck itself but when you look close you can still see it. It cost me 125$ to get it fixed and I have no idea when this had happened originally but now everything is fine and the guitar is a real beauty. It's a great rocker and feels like new! The neck is not too thin either. If someone wants to trade a vintage checkerboard special that's also cool with me http://s231.photobucket.com/albums/ee132/cornhold/ Comes with original case. 700$ plus shipping

serial Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 The early 90s Archtop Sunbursts are smoking guitars!
cornjulio Posted October 22, 2007 Author Posted October 22, 2007 I went to Real Guitars today. They'll fix the finish crack and promised it's no problem and not concering the wood/ neck!!!! They agreed it was in great conditon...
cmatthes Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 Agreed that this is a smokin' deal!My '91 Sunburst (Floyd) is an incredible all-around guitar. These are sleepers...
cornjulio Posted October 23, 2007 Author Posted October 23, 2007 Geez, is this thing still available?Yep!!! 700$ (I pay for the Real Guitar Job, they said it will be between 75 and 125$ and I was told they do a great job).Neck is not as thin as on an eighties special (my comparison is my 1980 special...). It feels good, but it is a thin neck (to my knowledge)!
Lockbody Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Whoops! Just expressing astonishment that it's still for sale.Although if I could have, I would have bought it the first day you posted it.
