belikerick Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Yeah I said BOOMERS - F'ing Awesome!! Not associated in any way, shape or form but decided I couldn't afford it with Christmas on the way and thought I would now share. Go For It! Looks like 2004 from serial number (but I could be wrong) and he wants $1200 Said it's pretty much in like new shape. http://denver.craigslist.org/msg/505300312.html Here's the pix he emailed me:
Jack C Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 I don't need a guitar and I don't have the money, but I probably would have found a way to buy that. That's the coolest Hamer I've seen in years.
Thundernotes Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 SOLD!Mine! YAAAAAY!!! Now there is a slight chance I could own it someday.
John E Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Good thing I didn't see that until it was already sold. That's a helluva steal on a fantastic guitar.
polara Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 DAMN! As soon as I opened this thread I was LITERALLY reaching for my phone. I CRAVE that guitar....
silentman Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Boomers on a P90 artist - so wrong on a lot of levels. Cool nonetheless. *bangs head fpr not getting them on the watson*
anotherfreak2 Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 That is the most beautiful thing I have seen in a looooong time!I hope you hate it and email me about it later!
Devnor Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Very nice guy...hes got a few Hamers but has never heard of the HFC. He did not spec this guitar out...a former Hamer dealer in Colorado took it upon himself to order something like this with Boomers.I was already in the market for an Artist so this was timely as hell for me. My first semi-hollow guitar and my first with P90s.
Camstone Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 The bound neck and headstock with the white finish is cool. Congrats!
thecajunboy Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 High five to the lucky buyer. Glad I didn't see it while it was available.
Dumo Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Christmas time is the time to buy guitars. People are dumping gear for cheap for present money. I just saw a PRS singlecut for $1K. Next year, I'm going to have a cash stash set aside for gear going into December. I've never seen so many sweet deals just sitting for weeks. Sweet Artist BTW.
Jorge Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 SOLD!Mine!I made an offer, and he replied, with a counteroffer, and his Paypal address. Good thing I saw your post before doing that. I am not sure which event happened first.I hope you get it fine, that is a truly beautiful guitar.
bbobb24 Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 That's flat out cool looking!! Congrats, and enjoy it!!I've been thinking about looking into something like that for a little while now.

I am not sure which event happened first.I hope you get it fine, that is a truly beautiful guitar. He told me about that...you wanted it shipped for $1200.00 and his counter was $1200 + shipping + paypal %. IMO at that price there is no negotiation
belikerick Posted December 12, 2007 Author Posted December 12, 2007 I'm going to REALLY regret not buying that guitar

unfun 75 Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Recently, I couldn't sell my white Studio here for sub-$800, but people are almost fighting for that white Hamer. Do boomers make that much of a difference???
