FS-1989 Scotti Hill Sunburst

As Kurtstuff has said before..."never say never". This is one that I fully expected would be with me forever, but I'm jonesing BAD for a 70s Iceman and/or a Les Paul Custom, either of which I'd use more, since I don't gig this one.

You know the drill. 1989 Hamer Sunburst with factory Floyd Rose made for Scotti Hill of Skid Row and toured as one of his main guitars (have an old Guitar mag from 1990 with this guitar and his rig). Guitar is VERY clean. Only non-original thing is that different tuners were on the headstock at one point, but the Hamer tuners were put back on (long before I got it), so there are extra holes.

Custom features, you ask? Of course. Single master volume control, no tone, ebony board, cherry back with beautifully figured flametop in tobacco burst, natural satin finihed neck and the cool thing is that this has an arm bevel like a Strat (factory) so you don't get that annoying digging into your arm like on most bound bodied guitars.

Sound? Fuc& yeah. A monster.

With original hardshell Hamer case, condition is an EASY 9/10 (I don't do decimal grades, but it's much cleaner than most "9"s I've seen)-no buckle rash or dulling. $4200 or I'll consider a few limited trades, like a Historic LP Custom, a 70s Mockingbird or a 70s Iceman and cash. Don't want to get rid of this one, but GAS is a tough thing. If it doesn't sell, I can find something else to move and won't be offended in the slightest!

HMFS!

No it's KSFM.

Damn serial, you're letting some cool pieces potentially drift away. This is one I'd love to have even more than the SS, but out of my league.

Ahhh, I remember that one.........

Not really into Les Pauls that aren't in the classic Custom/Standard/Deluxe mold. The 59s are ok, but I'm not that much of a 'burst guy, so I'd need cash on top. The R9s are nice, but I was looking for a Custom. Who knows though, shoot me pics of yours if you have any.

Had some trade + cash offers come in, but nothing that works for me yet. I'm open to a bunch of stuff-probably more than I realize, but not really in need (or looking for) any bolt-on stuff unless it's a 70s Fender Telecaster Deluxe. With trade+cash, I can be a good bit more flexible. Something w/a Bigsby could be cool (including Hamer), but I'm more into the traditional vintage stuff, so nothing like a Reverend or Ibanez Talman. I'm sure that those are nice from what I hear, but too non-traditional/vintage for what I'd actually use. Thanks for all of the replies so far-this is a COOL guitar. Can take more pics if necessary.

95 Les Paul Custom in black? Pretty clean...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Why do I have to be broke when stuff like this appears? Obviously can't afford it but would love to see a pic of that arm bevel from the edge...

Bump.

Price to $4000 even. Pulled this guitar out yesterday. Get me while I'm weak-if I spend too much more time with this one, it's not going anywhere and I'll move something far less cool!

Got some photo requests and actually had some time to snap some with my ailing camera...
