kevinbower1959 Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 Kevin, Very, Very Cool!Do you have more pictures from the Show? Ted UHey Ted,We have hundreds of hi-res shot from this show, but these particular ones are all copyrighted to a Finnish photographer named Arto Lehtinen. If I can get his permission to post some more, I will.
serial Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Certainly no Kevinbower shot (those are awesome!), but this is a vid and a pic from last night's gig. TWSS
kevinbower1959 Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Ok, so not exactly pics, but gig-related. A little agency promo for selected upcoming shows; Enjoy
diablo175 Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 in addition to the Hamer pic I recently posted, here's a few non- Hamer shots but features one of the dancing drunk that made the evening!
Brooks Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 nice jackson! tell the bassist to shave his head, y'all got a look developing.
diablo175 Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 nice jackson! tell the bassist to shave his head, y'all got a look developing. Almost. The drummer has hair, albeit real short, but like the bassist, he ain't about to shave it. Funny thing is, the singer's got enough body hair to transplant to a full head of hair. It's nasty. Audience members were commenting on how it was too hot for him to be wearing a sweater in August. He was rocking it sleeveless.
Brooks Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 good for steve clay for rawkin shorts onstage, its hot outside.greg, whats that jr lookin ax?
Brooks Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Dave & Brooks reunion 8-13-11 in Brambleton Va (..."and the crowd goes mild", ha). Got to meet Daves brand new baby boy, and then sunday me & my pal Jen had a kickass day at Kings Dominion riding rollercoasters (which is why I didn't bring my Duotone; I didn't want to leave it in the hot car all day). Good times!!
kevinbower1959 Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Summerbreeze Festival (Germany) yesterday. A contact lens shifted with painful consequences = I trainwrecked the last part of the solo, 2 frets too high Edit - I just watched it again. Make that 2 frets too low. And.......no keyboards for first 20 seconds of bridge. Subgroup muted on mixing board. S**t happens
gorch Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Really nice stuff Kev. Watching, I noticed it looked a bit strange to see a singer without a microphone (and stand) in hands. Having two hands free gives a lot of freedom for gestures to the singer of course. On the other hand it looks strange not having a (rock-) singer crying into a microphone.Rock on.
G Man Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 greg, whats that jr lookin ax?Rist?Definitely Rist.
Hackubus Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 I let Robert use the Zandard last Saturday since his Monoco's strings were looking pretty grungy. Friday night, I used the Zandard & he got the GT, but no photographic evidence exists. Twas a Standard bearer weekend to borrow a phrase from Mr Matthes.
cornjulio Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 So this is a s recent as of January 2010 but we made a bit of an effort back then so I'm posting a link here: We get to girls dressed as french waitresses to serve beer to the audience and then open the curtains for us to rock....
kenjones Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 My old friends Horseshoe decided to have a reunion gig. They asked me to play with them. Everyone but me is an original member. These guys are GREAT songwriters and musicians. We played 40 songs and 38 were originals. We sold out the club that night. We got a really good review by the local entertainment paper. Here's some photos. I'm the guy playing the Martin OM acoustic and the PRS McCarty. More photos here. Some (marginal quality) videos , , and here.
kevinbower1959 Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Bloodstock Open Air 2011. Here's what the crowd thought; http://www.bloodstock.uk.com/community/vie...=43&t=29669
