I snagged this bad boy from a GC in CT, as some of you know. Its a 2005 HAMER Standard done up in 59 burst flametop.

Its loaded with Seymour Duncan 59ers, Schaller tuners, Tone Pros hardware and a beautifuly grained rosewood fretboard inlaid with MOP traps!

It has a pretty beefy 50s neck, more C shaped.

I expected 10-11 lbs, but was surprised to weigh it at 9.3 lbs! The balance is pretty good considering the size of the neck.

The action is wonderfully low, neck is perfect, just a frog hair of relief.

The top is STUNNING! The GC picture did not show nearly the amount of flame...i was pleasently surprised! It is in 9.8 condition...i was floored, for an almost 7 yr old guitar....PPFFFFFF, it didnt get played much!

Awesome tone...i'm not a big fan of 59ers, but they do sound decent in this guitar...i let you judge from the clip. I'm very happy, especially for the price.

It's starting to look one of us is burglarizing the other's house. I have the guitar lamp you have on my computer desk, the Beatles prints in individual frames in my living room, and a Standard like that (except for a bound headstock).

I think the markers are off center.

Just kidding, very sweet guitar!

Great score, Brent.

Detroit completely outplayed the Canucks last night...it was painful but at least we got a point.

Love it. One of these days the stars will line up and I will get me a proper Standard to keep my Blitz company.
