Hamer95USA Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Great job on the restoration. Why does the finish on the side of the guitar have holes in it though? Are you relicing the guitar? Guitar George
murkat Posted June 10, 2012 Author Posted June 10, 2012 Throughout its life, the guitar got a few bumps, bruises, etc.I am not one to fill, cover them up, nor was my plan to do so.And looks silly attempting to.Once the finish was cured, I resurrected the little things, bringing back the testamet of time on a well played guitar.Guitar was reliced on its own. I just made sure that some of the natural relicing was still intactinstead of burying it under filler and finish. It is what I do. Honor it.
