Disturber Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Looks like I have to postpone this one until 2013. Talked to the wife and it turns out we have our 10th wedding anniversary on this same date :-( We've been going steady since 1996 and when we got kids five years ago the realtionship changed some, as often happens. Last fall we went to some councelling and found our way back to what we are all about as a couple. So this 10th wedding anniversary means a lot to us both, I want to be with the family to celebrate this. We talked about going the whole family, but it's not possible this fall. BUT, we decided to start saving up for the whole family to come for next years event (someone already called out that it will be one in a previous thread ). We'll then go to Seattle and visit realtives and perhaps rent a car and cruise around some on the west coast. I am serious about this and we'll start saving up for it right after this summers vacation in July. I am really sorry though that I can't make it this year, I was really looking forward to it.

zorrow Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 October 13th... Ok, will talk to my wife, but flights Montreal-Chicago are quite expensive right now. Very probably will have to choose between this one and the DOA event in Tampa early next year.

Would make it easier and quicker to head back home the next day.
