murkat Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 Just got done setting it up. It so freeking rocks. So Jr. , so much sustain and raw, off the charts. Very light aged, relic thing going on. Just feels old and broke in already. I am pretty happy on the turn out. Fookin Rocks. Oh, and the pickup... holy norton abernathy. wow.
murkat Posted June 10, 2013 Author Posted June 10, 2013 TY ! balance is perfect. Solid neck thru maple goodness. maple blocks for body fill in's. The gotoh tuners are very nice, smooth, light. The tone is very rich, not bright. also very pick attack controlable, dynamic. putting the pickup a little farther away from the bridge really opened it up to thick chewy meaty tones, but can sizzle when provoked Great neck for stubby fingers. width is almost slim, but a nice feel regardless. It's a Rik! and then some The bridge could use a set of Glendale Tele saddles... but fuck it, it is a Jr. and it rocks as is. I will let the future owner do the tweeking of... if a future owner would like to adopt it
