I saw some really cool, unique inlay work recently; like I had pictured in my mind, but Shishkovized. 😎

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the batch as well.

Had the pleasure of talking with Mike today to finalize some details of #95. It's getting very real and I'm closer to joining the "club".

Someone finally got an extra F Hole.

Am I the only one who sees the irony in a "solid" ordering a hollow guitar?

there's one other little twist that's hinted at there.

The top looks like spruce but thick. Could be chambered under the f holes

I would assume so...because...F holes!  :D

I don't know whether or not the construction is similar to the other semi-hollows with a single F-hole that Mike has made, if those were hollow under the treble side as well.

The guitar looks fantastic!

But let me be curious for a second...it is interesting to hear about reason as to why the two f's are placed at different heights...?

Look there at the placement compared to the pup hole... that they're not aligned (as on a violin or cello).

or compare with the f's on the this Superpro...they are same height

Just wondering...

They match the waist.  From this viewpoint I think it's not symmetrical. The narrow part on top is at the neck pickup pocket, on the lower it's closer to the area between the pickups.  I bet on a full shot it looks balanced with the flow of the waist and the bouts.

It'll be interesting and lovely when it's all together.
