With special upgrades on pickups and wiring. Some no doubt think the gobs of abalone inlay/purfling are too much. I don't. I think it safe to say there are so many in great condition because their owners thought them too nice to take out and risk getting dinged up. Damn shame, that.

The most attractive feature, for me, is the ebony fretboard.
