Probably about as good a price as you can hope for, esp from a reputable dealer. It should go quickly.

That's a gorgeous guitar but I'm not familiar with this model. Is it worth $3K? Seriously, not being snarky here but I really just don't know.

Worth every penny of it, IMO. Takes the Artist model to a higher level. Arguably the "top" of the Hamer line. With special upgrades on pickups and wiring. Some no doubt think the gobs of abalone inlay/purfling are too much. I don't.

I think it safe to say there are so many in great condition because  their owners thought them too nice to take out and risk getting dinged up. Damn shame, that.

The most attractive feature, for me, is the ebony fretboard.

Not a bad price, but "... there is a chunk of wood missing from the headstock."  Chomp!

That mirage with a chunk taken out of the headstock would be a great beater Mirage to use as a mule for modding. Not at that price, tho. Had to look at the pics to see why that Newport was so cheap, too...  😬

I’ll sell MY ‘84 Blitz Bass for that...with the original knobs and no Bartolinis too.
