Someone please tell me that there's something wrong with this guitar (besides the preamp)...

Must. Not. Buy.

Just looking at everything wrong in this photo should be enough to keep it at a distance.

Splain?  I'm not all that familiar with T-62s.

Just the aesthetic of the guard shape not matching the body shape; the guard being extended as if there would be a tone pot but then no tone pot; the switch mounted just off the guard rather than being on the guard...all of the above have the look of after-market mods done by a budding high school aged player than that of a finessed design by a maker of fine guitars.

Yeah, looks clean and stock. Betcha the "broken" preamp could be fixed, and one neck bolt isn't a big deal.

Except for the neck bolt, it appears stock. @cynic, I agree the mismatched body carve and the guard look very sloppy and amateurish. The example in the OP ad isn't the only one.

I wasn't trying to imply it wasn't stock, sorry.  That's 100% the work of Hamer as they all suffer from the same little bits of imperfection.

Stock schmock!
There’s room on the pickguard to ADD the needed tone control AND the preamp switch can be repurposed as the coil split switch for the humbucker that’ll go into the bridge position!

I’m about 15 minutes from this store. I can’t think of any reason I need another strat though and this is my least favorite version of these.

I just don't understand how a m'fk'r loses one neck bolt.

One pickguard screw, ok...  sure.  Control panel screw - we've all done that.  But a neck bolt?

Even Frankenstein never lost a neck bolt!

apparently someone was trying to recreate the mojo of the 70's three-bolt Fenders ("i think you're going about it the wrong way, son"). they also forgot the 'entombed in poly' finishing.
