2007 Talladega in Amberburst - Excellent

The only flaw is a very slight impression on the top behind the bridge. See photo with the guitar pick. It was sold to me as "mint" and I only discovered the slight ding well after taking possession. There is a very tiny(too small to photo) nick/impression near the bottom edge front. Some light/short scuff marks on the back. Not mint but excellent plus.  Zero fret wear. Neck is as new.

Very light. 7#5oz. I think these were chambered.  The bodies are thinner than the Talladega Pro.  I believe the body is one piece of  mahogany.  

The pickups are the Double Ds. The pick-up selector is wired parallel, neck, series, bridge.  Bridge is the sustain block. 25.5 inch scale.

The color of the top is not as dark as the photos show. See the photo of the guitar in the case, which is a truer depiction of the shade.

Comes with COA, key, warranty card and Welcome to Our Club envelope/card. Case is in excellent condition.

Not many were made.  I have owned this since about 2009.  Never left the house.  Not many come up for sale on the board.  I haven't seen one on Reverb in ages. The buyer will get a Talladega that is close to new condition. The Talladegas really show Hamer craftsmanship at its peak.  These are great guitars.

I just sent all my extra money to TopHat…..allI have remaining in set aside for 0117.  This guitar makes me wanna sell a couple Hamers to raise the funds. Dang. GLWTS. That is gorgeous. What do the pickups sound like? Tele on steroids? Low wind p90s?

I have it’s twin. It hurts to see it at that price. This is a great deal for someone, but I think you should get more for this.

I have replied to one of our own and am awaiting payment.

I am selling to fund a non-guitar project.  My cousin has a box of letters her mother wrote to her father while  was imprisoned at Dachau for 18 months for giving Nazi train info to the partisans.  The thought was they could work him to death as slave labor rather than shoot  him. Apparently he kept every letter (100 plus) and carried them as he walked back across the Alps to Slovenia in the spring of 1945.  I intend to image them and translate them for my cousins.

Pieman, I wish I still had the email address of a college chum who headed a film company in London. Just those three sentences quoted above read like the plot of a great non-fiction screenplay. Anyone out there know how to reach Spielberg?

Nice guitar, nice price. I have a Jazzburst Talladega with tort binding and matching Jazzburst truss rod cover., that was ordered with Custom Customs (sheeseh). Wish it had the Double Ds like yours: whoever got this is gonna like it!
