  2. I'm not sold on the Tubesteader Gainlord or else I'd have gone that route. Olly doesn't spam his pedals to reviewers before a launch, so there aren't many Gainlord demos on YouTube other than those from Tubesteader.
  3. Today
  4. How much for 1/5th?
  5. It kicked me off when I bid $350! 👀😮🤩😈🤡
  6. Yeah, I stopped bidding at $275.000 🤣
  7. I may have figured it out but my method missed a step. Today I worked a 1/4” plug in and out of the FX send and return jacks, then turned the amp on to test. The weird sounds underneath the notes are gone. However, I did not check before I worked the jacks. My daughter has a migraine today so I will check later when I can turn it up more. I did play it awhile in all modes and with my pedal board and it seems OK. Before I buttoned it up, I did the Deoxit on all tube sockets and all input and output jacks - spray some on the pins and plug, seat/reseat a few times. All appears working OK. We play a party this Friday and I will give it a shakedown cruise. With the Quilter US Superblock as backup. I had to work the input jacks on my Marshall after a long time not being played. Was picking up AM radio, weird.
  8. Orlando is the best show. I'd bet it's five times larger.
  9. Most of the guitars went higher than I had expected.
  10. Wow! 👀 https://www.juliensauctions.com/en/items/2297673/rick-nielsen-stage-played-custom-2004-hamer-five-neck-korina-electric-guitar-natural
  11. Man, quit ruining my bad reputation. 😆 Always fun to put face to name. We almost met at the Sarasota show back in June but I was sidetracked that day by the claustrophobic crowd and I never got overwhelmed by a crowd. Look forward to more fun tale telling. I have not made it to the Orlando show but perhaps this will be the year. 😆👍❤️🏁
  12. Never seen an MIII like that. Sweet! I have been looking for an MIII for a while because the one I play was bought from Matt Smith and he had been asking me for the last few months to sell it back to him. I told him that, as soon as we could find a replacement, I would sell it back to him cause I just love playing the MIII. Now that Matt has left us, (RIP) I will keep this guitar forever. Good luck with the sale.
  13. Not under a rock, but I do live between two swamps. I think I've made that abundantly clear and honestly, I am surprised that you are surprised I've not heard of the Ruby. That is why I completed my confession of ignorance with "that's not surprising." I am familiar with the Blue. I have one in a box in the top of my bedroom closet I bought new from Martin Music (Memphis) more than ten years ago. I put it in my Reeves Custom 12 PS and couldn't tell any appreciable difference between it and the Reeves greenback clone it came with, so I pulled it back out and it's been in the original box ever since. It's likely not even broken in. I have also heard of the Gold and Cream though I've never had any experience with them. Just here to learn and obviously I have.
  14. I can't swear to a direct cause and effect link, but after I got hearing aids it seemed like I heard the ringing much less whether I had the hearing aids in or not.
  15. I‘d be all over it in a blink (looking for a M/III for years now), but shipping, taxes and stuff will jack up the price to 3k plus… 😩
  16. Well this is timely as my 95 Studio is having issues with the jack losing connection now. So that stereo pure tone is the cats meow for this application?
  17. It’s always nice to see an MIII. This one especially.
  18. I have a Pearce G1 Preamp with its channel pedal if your friend is looking for a back up or another model. I'm not Ronnie Montrose but the price will reflect that. Also an Ashly FET-200 and BBE 482 Sonic Maximizer stereo but can be used mono. And a modern BBE 382 I meaning one set of controls adjusts both sides. Again stereo but can be used mono. It would be cool to run one channel hot and the other milder. Just in case he is looking for options. I know I'm supposed have prices included but it is just an offer for his friend. I can include prices tomorrow. Too late to look an average or below average amd I understand if this is pulled. Thanks Ham Rex
  19. That is a gorgeous quilted M3!! I was look8n*for one months ago but found my Monaco Monaco which scratches that itch perfectly. But man O man, what a guitar this is!
  20. Our own BTMN was at the Tampa Guitar show this weekend. We met and had a couple great conversations. He has a history that's really exemplary. It was wonderful hearing how he's come across his most treasured Hamers. I look forward to seeing him at future shows. Gene is just another great person I've met on this forum.
  21. Yesterday
  22. She’s actually quite well balanced! No neck dive!!!
  23. Wow, that’s cool. Turned out great! Looks way better than the individual parts on their own.
