I was surprised when I took my first look at my amberburst Vintage S. It can look like regular cherry sunburst in pics. The pics of this Sunburst show the real color very well. And it looks exceptional on this Sunburst! Did Hamer offer the Sunburst off the shelf with that finish? I don't think I've read that they did. It might have been custom ordered in that color.

In the pics I've seen online of recent guitars, amberburst looks much brighter (yellower) than that. I suppose the the pics don't show the true color (or else Hamer changed the color without changing the name like it appears they did with aztec gold). Anyeay, that's a sweet looking guitar.-Austin
