Hamerphite Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Below.Greg I put you in touch with Mr V from NYC. -Ralph
Steve Haynie Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 As long as you have the guitar, Greg, could you do a comparison with a Hamer Vector? The current Vector design is supposed to be based on an original Flying V, but what differences can you find? Thickness? Neck shape? There is no expectation for the 50 year mojo to be in a modern production guitar, so just give us the technical details.

BCR Greg Posted November 14, 2008 Author Posted November 14, 2008 I put repro tuners on since the originals have shrunken buttons. Words cannot express how good this guitar is.
Jason01 Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 You gonna refin it zebra? I'd be afraid to even be near it much less touch it. Thanks for sharing something truly special with us.

Mad Man Mike Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Hea!!!!!!!!!!!!! fellows I saw this in person. Boy it is a sight to behold. It Tried to talk to my wife about it and she said forget it. The price tag was to much for us. It is really a gem. I did touch it a little I had to. I may never get this close to a such a great guitar for the rest of my life. Who ever gets this guitar will be greatly happy and be a gifted person forever. It really should be a in a frame to be admired from afar. I will say one other thing boy is Greg is one luck person being about to touch and handle such great git fiddles. This is one of them.

serial Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I got to fondle it a bit yesterday. Very cool indeed.
Camstone Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 There's a mint one of these at EMP in Seattle that I was able to get within a couple of feet of. But there was this really thick piece of glass between me and it. Paul Allen is the owner of the one at EMP.Very cool. I'm sure there are are buyers out there for this beaut based on rarity alone.
