Well, there's not exactly a guitar player in this picture, but I think it's super cool.

The Clash, no group ever has had more style and coolness:

Instant classic. Photographer did not like, thought it was out of focus. Joe Strummer insisted it should be on the cover for London Calling - the rest is, as we say, history. Paul Simonon smashing bass.

Here is another cool one of Strummer:

This is far the best. I saw the movie twice, stunning intermezzo. Did he really play that banjo? Does someone know who he is in case? Even if he didn't play the song himself, they've made it very well in the movie.

I wish I could make this bigger. It is my favorite Keef picture...

Not that these are great pictures but I personally took them in the mid 70s of The Who...

The kid could not play a banjo. He lives in North Georgia and occasionally is part of a human interest story on local television or a newspaper article. He got to keep the banjo from the movie, but it was lost over the years.

Mick Ronson was always cool. I saw him with Ian Hunter in 1979, but at the time I did not know much about him. I learned, though!

One thing this thread proves-- ALL pictures of Jimi Hendrix are cool!

The year was 1978, I was 12, there was no one I wanted to be more than Ace Frehley!

(Much to the chagrin of my parents!)

I took this one at Jazz Fest 1990, Stevie's last...

one for the ages...

ha!

Angel (remember Punky Meadows or Guifeia ( I can't remember how to spell it)

Saw them live. They had a Spinal Tap opening (They came out of stacked boxes) although their bass player made it out...!

I always thought this was a cool pic. The band is "Legs Diamond" from the 70's. Probably toured with Angel, etc. Very cool Dean.

Here's another for fans of 70's hard rock. Can you name the player without looking at the URL? The Drums give a big clue.

Wow! A rare picture of Jimi's twin brother, Wladyslaw Hendrix.

I opened for him a couple of times back in the day,

Actually this is Jimi's lesser known younger brother Boudreaux Hendrix who was born in Ville PLatte Louisiana. His big hit was "Are You Experienced, Cher?"
