svl Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Saw a piece on this on the news last night, they showed the choir, but there were no dusters to be seen... Explained to my kids that CM's son was there playing for Sir Paul, and they were mighty impressed as well. They then asked how they could get in on such an act (insert "how do you get to Carnegie Hall" joke here), and my reply was PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE, 'cause that's what CM's lad did. The Matthes Family, inspiring young minds and promoting good work ethics.

The Matthes Family, inspiring young minds and promoting good work ethics. To the first sentence, when I said to Shilo guess where Michael Matthes is playing, she just holds up her hand like "don't tell me, I don't wanna hear it." This stems from the Springsteen story which I don't know if CM has shared. To the second sentence, +1. It's good to see the truly good guys get the truly special experiences.
Stevieconlon Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Who's Paul Mccartney? He is a popular solo artist that covers works by older bands like Wings
kevinbower1959 Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Way to go!! I'm really stoked for you and your son. As fathers, we hold these tiny bundles of baby joy in our arms and wonder how they will grow up. As a 'Metal Dad' I'm kinda proud at what happened to mine; Best wishes Kev
Stike Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 The Matthes Family, inspiring young minds and promoting good work ethics. :angry:Unless they are hanging out with The Stikeleather family.
