tommy p Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Small harem, but a good one: Zandard, Standard 'burst, checkerboard.
kizanski Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Small harem, but a good one: Zandard, Standard 'burst, checkerboard.Checkerboard Special FTW!
jginsj Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 This is an older pic, the T51 is gone and a green sustainblock Special and a red Eclipse and a red TLE have been added. The TLE's are my fav Hamer model, I didn't see a single one in all the previous posts so I am officially a freak.....
tobereeno Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 Hamers (JLV TLE still in final stages at NTL) non-Hamers and if anyone noticed...there are 90 Sperzel tuners in those two pics (soon to be 94, as the new Velocity bass needs to get Sperzeled). None are stock; something has been upgraded on every instrument. That's how I roll. ah, and getting half of an EMG P pickup to work alone, in the Mandobirds? That was hard.
BTMN Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Upon my new review of the thread and page 6 in particular! I have to get a new shot or three. My links are dead in this thread.
bubs_42 Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Ya, he is not helping my lust for an Artist.
Bobby Marshall Posted November 27, 2012 Author Posted November 27, 2012 Gene, does the empty stand mean something such as INCOMING!!!!?
veatch Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Looking at this thread always makes me want to buy more Hamers...Signed: Captain Obvious.
Montelovesco Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Do you find them all? Should be five, I think...
BTMN Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 sqGene, does the empty stand mean something such as INCOMING!!!!?Not my photo or guitars. See page 6 of this thread. IF you Dare!
BTMN Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 My version of the above threesome from page 6... For a minute when I went through this thread and saw pg. 6, I was like OH MAN!!! I gotta have some. Then I walked in the livingroom. There are some fantastic guitars in this thread and you all, myself included, are enablers of this Hamer addiction(using the word in jest) in a bad way. Playing the Standard and Vector on Sunday did NOT deter me in anyway to avoid my bout with Hamer Trans Amber Limba Fever.
django49 Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 sqGene, does the empty stand mean something such as INCOMING!!!!?Not my photo or guitars. See page 6 of this thread. IF you Dare! I think it was a subconscious opening left for the older mahogany vector (Dimarzios with non-pointed headstock) that popped up here a week or so ago......Months after that picture was taken. In the meantime, a few things from the earlier photos have moved on to new owners as I TRY to better rationalize the number of Hamers hanging about......Not to mention prepare for ONE newer "custom order". Hope to have details on that one before yearend. HOPE is the key word here.
Bobby Marshall Posted November 29, 2012 Author Posted November 29, 2012 BTMN and Django49, nice groups!!! Been awhile since I looked at page 6.
ghamerinfrance Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Totally amazed by Django's collection...
Ted Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Sexy collection with all those stripes and things going on!!!
HSB0531 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Not big enough to be a Harem.....Yet. Left: 1981 #0531 Right: 2010 #9-56389 1978: After seeing Cheap Trick at the Calderone Music Hall in Long Island NY. I wanted a Hamer Standard Bass in a 12 string version. 1981: Financially, I just couldn't afford the 12, so I had Hamer make a Standard 4-string bass, and not trusting UPS, ordered it with a Calzone flight case. 2008: After 30 years of wanting one, I finally ordered one from Greg @ BCR. 2010: In January, a Hamer Standard 12.
