In a moment of weakness, (about one hour 20 minutes ago) I nailed a white 1988 SS1 Std on ebay from the bloke who sold me my first Hamer back in 2004, who shares the fun of Crohns Disease with me. Hot single coil pups (from an Ovation Viper of the same era), piezo saddles and preamp added, stereo output jack to split the piezo signal from the pups, and a Koa veneered pickguard.

I've always liked the look of these, but have never actually played one.

I'm way out.In fact, you can take 9 other people off the list at random due to my purchases.I took advantage of my wife being out of the country and the discovery of Yamaha being severely under-valued/-estimated/-priced to swap out 10 guitars in my collection
