I'm pretty excited to clean it up and it's been played the wear spots on the back whereĀ it rode someone's hip... makes me think it rubbed someĀ Ā rockĀ kings belt buckle for the last 30 years. šŸ‘

I might be the minority here but I even love the old Vector headstocks... this one's in the process of getting a coupleĀ of Josh's pickups installedĀ 6wxPR3M.png

The bridge alone sells for more than you paid.Ā

Look at the rock masonry around the fireplace. Talk about a man cave!

If they're the original DiMarzios, you have at least $400 - $450 in parts alone.
Great score either way.

Everything looks original and intact the discoloration on front pickup is a blue ball point pen ... it wipes off easy but they must have gotten bored and started coloring the front pickup trim piece...it wipes off easy and I removed sticker.... all is good there too!!

Great news! That would have been my biggest concern, some sort of Dremel nonsense (or worse) to accommodate a third pickup. You did very well!

I thought the sticker was a third pickup hole when I saw it on FB also. Once again Nice score for $200. Lil elbow grease and a few adjustments I bet that will be real nice. Sustain Blocks Rule!

Here is an '82 I sent to Europe a couple years ago.

It's all there but the case.

Would this help?

Screw the case.

Just prop it up against the wall. That was the reason for the V design in the first place.
