FS: T-51 and Checkerboard Case, Excellent Cond.

The "Face it, dude, you have cancer and the last stroke F%$kd your fingers up bad" purge continues.  This one's gonna sting.

It's a 1994 T-51 in excellent condition.  No dings I can find, completely original, no bridge screw rust, just a peachy example of a black guard Tele.  Comes with the uber cool (and pretty damn rare) checkerboard case.  No stories, no worries.

A look at recent sales of these on Re-burp looks like they run about $1,100 -$1,500, none with the case and only a couple in comparable condition.

So HFC good buddy price is $1,200.

Price is plus shipping, PP F&F or you pick up the fees.

The case alone is worth 1/3 of the price... and I'm very sorry to hear of your condition 😔

Nice guitar! I was unaware that the T-51 had a belly cut on the back. The body itself appears to be alder. I’d have jumped on this if it had a rosewood fingerboard. GLWTS

Oooh, Very nice !   Never had a Telle-type anything before.  But I'm up to 16 guitars now......
Must Stop..... Must Stop !!  Dag, I hate it when G.A.S. starts kickin' in. Seems like I'm just blowin' my pension on Mahogany, Alder, Paulownia, Korina and Swamp Ash..... Well, no Swamp Ash yet, but Must Stop.....Must Stop !!

Aaah, that is where you have it all wrong, clodhooper.  The guitars ARE your pension! Buy 'em, play 'em until you can't, then sell them off and getcher self a 500 HP bass boat metalflake wheelchair with fins from a '59 Caddy!

and... a 1 pc body.  a lot of sources say they were 2 pc. I don't know that though, maybe the painted ones?  I've only seen a couple with clear tinted topcoats and they were both 1 pc. I had one for a couple years. played good, sounded great.. great guitar but  heavy A F

My '79 T51 is definitely a one piece body

'97 not '79 - transposed the numbers. Sucks getting old.

I agree!  I would think you could get $300 for the case by itself easily.

Classic and clean, with sweet checkerboard case. Everyone needs a solid T-style guitar. 🤘

Would you dars to ship internationally? Asking for a friend… 😎

I've done it before, but my body and nerves were in *much* better shape then.  TBH, I'd rather not.  Regrettably.

Whew......thanks for the save.  I was really, really holding off on this one.  Oh, the GAS pressure I was under.  If it was still there by Friday, that would have been my first Swamp Ash beauty.

Enjoy my friend, enjoy !
