Feynman Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47452I guess they didn't get many offers when it was 12.5k. Surely it will fly off their shelf now.
cynic Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 or........order a brand-spankin' new hard tail version for thousands less.But I agree it's a looker.
coolfeel Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 or........order a brand-spankin' new hard tail version for thousands less. But I agree it's a looker. Definately a nice looking one. But I was thinking the same thing. Have one made to your specs and pay much less - and it's your very own custom build.
MCChris Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Aargh! That guitar is so hideous. +1. Agreed! So much so that the seller refers to it as a "he" and not a "she" in the description.

MCChris Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Ha!Beat me to it...I like the color though.Too bad you can't see any of it because of that abortion of a pickguard.

burningyen Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Interesting to compare with what Jol is making right now:http://guitarguru.typepad.com/my_weblog/20...ng-drawing.html
Steve Haynie Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Yup. The pickguard makes that Hamer look unique, but it sort of ruins it at the same time. The same goes for the blade switch cover. That TLE is an 80's metal take on a Tele turned back around into a Texas blues thing. Maybe it looked good on paper. ... I understand the pickguard and backplate on Jol's Sakura guitar. It will probably look cool when it is finished.
jginsj Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 I'm a TLE collector and that thing does absolutely nothing for me!
