  1. Yes, Hamer used to sell a T-shirt with that logo. Have one but can't find a pic of it now. Someone also did cavity covers etched with that logo. Pic below is one on a Korina Standard I got from Jisham (and then traded for Two Rock Custom prototype #3).
  2. That song brings back pleasant memories. Was in a band with my bro as guitar/singer, and me on bass. One of our standards. Loved playing that song.
  3. Thanks! Unfortunately, mine is the integrated pickguard. Maybe there is still a way . . . will be looking.
  4. Oooh Oooh, how'd you do it? I dropped mine into a Mex Classic 70s, which has a maple fretboard and an ash body. A wee bit bright for my taste on occaision. Never use EXP, and would really like to tame the highs at times.
  5. Gads I love the Celestials. I'm an outlier, but that tops my find-it-in-a-pawnshop/yardsale Hamer dream, even over a 4 digit Standard. SC- be patient. Very few are going to jump up and down in a couple days to unload such prized pieces. If push comes to shove, maybe Fung has something. Might have to give up something cool in return.
  6. If you -really- cared about your music, you'd get the latest from Mogami. Superconducting cable modules. Helium coolant not included.
  7. Bondo and rattle-can. Oh wait . . . that's what not to do.
  8. Heard Slade first myself. Goodbye to Jane, Mama were all crazy now, etc. Quiet Riot's version is spot on and is my fave. Like when Hendrix covered Dylan's songs.
  9. My Studio Blueburst, pic courtesy of Greggles
  10. Yeah, and this is me finally hitting those Rob Halford high notes. Only thing that works.
  11. Celestial Chappie with sustainiac.
  12. Oops, sent a report. Have heard good things from folks I trust on F&T and Tech Caps. I still have Mallory/CDE TC series caps in my stash, but they are crazy expensive now if you can find them. I'd be very leary of buying generic power filtering caps of any type. Have seen some cut open that seemed too light in weight and sure enough, they had a same -value- cap inside, but smaller body with lower power rating.
  13. I've got one with a new bridge installed. Great player.
  14. 02 and 03. Walked out of the shop with a Hamer both times. Funny how that works, lol.
  15. Wonder how much tumbling boomers would cost? Edited cuz grammar.
  16. LOL, that's kinda funny. I swapped out goodwoods for marshallheads in a DTM and decided to kept em in; won by a smidgin. Everyone's tonal taste is unique
  17. Wolfetone Marshallheads. PAF with more push. More power but the highs don't get squished and are still clear.
  18. My Custom McNaught Vintage Single Cut. Yes, in sunlight, it is that vibrant.

  20. Mastodon - Crack the Skye Hawkwind - Blood of the Earth Robin Trower - Twice Removed, Bridge of Sighs, Live Had the first two Trower on Vinyl, but hadn't played in 20 years.
  21. Hmm, maybe he could help me suck less. Now, was the underwear part his idea or yours? Do you get a discount?
  22. Was wondering where you went. You still got the guitar with this inlay?: TresAdvark kicking around still?
  23. I can't explain this in any way that makes sense. The Newport is perhaps my favorite electric I've had. I sold it. It might not make any sense, but that is so FEYNMAN. Second on the arrangement Q - local or long distance?
  24. Seek and ye shall find . . . Actually it started out as Toneseeker, but there were a number of tone-related nicks (including tonejunkee) so chopped it down to seeker for one of the board moves. Am still seeking tone, but have found a few I like. Besides, Serial was already taken. No, you silly. That's Feynman making the entire crowd levitate 6 feet above their seats.
