1989 USA Californian, VHT Deliverance Sixty, and 1997 USA Diablo Limited <3

The Cali in particular is my favorite guitar of all time, and I've played lots!

Welcome to the best forum around! Congrats on the Hamers and a pic in your first post. You'll fit right in....

I don't like shredders much, but right now I fapping off to the one on the left!

Deliverance 60? Heh. I like the name. Deliver us from evil...

Welcome!, nice way to intoduce yourself!

but wait, aren't new members required to first post something non-Hamer for sale (and overpriced) and only provide a link to ebay, or where the real ad is?, I'd better check the bylaws...

Welcome and that looks like you could well rip some heads off with that rig!

I love a good Cali. Currently, I'm without one.

Both very nice looking guitars. The finish on that Cali looks like an old nicely worn 60's Fender strat. I like!

Haha :D

The Deliverance is just BADASS! One channel of freakin amazing tone

Thanks for the welcome guys, I look forward to checking out all the sexy Hamers on this board.

Question to the Cali owners: do the neck sizes vary quite a bit? It seems like I remember reading about someone's Cali that had a really thin shredder neck, but mine has a big fat D neck similar to a Strat and I LOVE it (seems like its almost twice as thick as the Diablo neck ;)). I definitely want to pick up another Cali at some point and I'd want another thick neck for sure.

Oh yeah, my Cali has stainless steel frets as well ;)

Welcome aboard!

That rig even LOOKS loud.

Pedals?

Thanks! As far as pedals I own several but the only ones I really use are my Keeley SD-1 and Eventide Timefactor. I always bring my ISP Decimator with me to gigs as well; I rarely have to use it but I never know what I'll have to deal with at the shithole bars I play at ;)

Merci! Oh yeah man, my Cali and I have been through hell and back together.

This thing fits like an old glove :D

Here are some pics where you can see the wear a bit better (cell phone quality ;))

The small hole between the pickups is where I anchor my pinkie and the gray cloud on the back of the neck is an area where I've completely worn through the clear coat

I just love how dark the raw mahogany is in the parts where the finish is missing - almost makes me wanna sand the sucker down lol

Damn, looks pretty sweet!! What happened to the rest of your frets though?? What is the neck like on yours....thick or thin? ;)

I bet seeing those wear pics would make Jol really happy.

Welcome!

Jol re-issuing the Californian would make me really happy
