atquinn Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 So those are indeed the actual inlays? Cool!-Austin
polara Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 There has got to be a story behind that one. Robinette?
Disturber Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 With those inlays one would assume it once belonged to someone in the band Biohazard. I doubt that they would play such a thing though....
Disturber Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 One of the guitarplayers in Biohazard once wanted me to score him some drugs, but that is another story altogether.....
BadgerDave Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 Unfortunately, the inlays are stickers. You can see in the photo that the one at the 15th fret has been damaged. Given the better photos, what do you think the value is? I've contacted the seller and we are discussing a return or partial refund based on the headstock issue and non disclosure of the fake inlays. Otherwise, it's in good condition and sets up well.
sirDaniel Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 that guitar is....YOU of course, this from the guy who started the "Which guitar to grow old with" thread.
Caddie Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 inlay could have been done by this guy.http://guitarfix.com/inlay4.htm
serial Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Damn! Once again, I have the log book page RIGHT before this one. This guitar is on page 121 of the log book that has 1983/1984 guitars.
Brooks Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 if that was just black & white it would look killer. but the pink screams "trixter" or some such lameness, ha.

svl Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 I love it, and would be more than willing to take it off Badger's hands, except for that damn Floyd. Nice score, Dave.

Jason01 Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 They ought to pay you some money for taking some decent pictures too! Still a cool guitar but yea, not worth close to what you paid given the non disclosed issues.
morningstar Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 I buy guitars here. Circus puke could be pretty alluring though... Inlays = "meh". Peel em.Headstock repair = 40-50% off... and seller shoud drink a bucket of buzzard's blood and bathe in liquid shit for failure to disclose a major break/repair.morningstar

ceeb Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 At least he applied the stickers straight. That's more than Hamer can do, and those are actually inlayed, so there's no do-over.I have to say, I love the fact that when you say "Clown Puke" finish, everybody here knows exactly what you're talking about. If they didn't know, they can open the link and immediately understand, and adopt.
