Killer solo record with Bruford, Eno, Jobson, Wetton...a veritable, "who's who", of prog rock. This led to the classic, "801 Live", which is a must-have LP.

Great performances on this. Who records single song, 17min album sides anymore? Kenny Burrell kills on this one.

I took a chance on this because Brooks speaks so highly of these guys. Glad I did.

Glad you liked it. My fave is The Church Within.
Even better IMFO is the Spirit Caravan compilation The Last Embrace.
I think Wino shoots himself in the foot by changing the name of the band each time he swaps up rhythm sections, as he's the main man (Vocals, guitar, songwriter).

Traded a spare copy of, "Women and Children First", for this. Funny, I'm not the biggest XTC fan, but I love the two LPs from this project.

Yes on all The Who, my all time favorite band, but...

On my TT is the Ray Brown Trio, with Gene Harris, "Soular Energy."    I really recommend it to all.  Good stuff.  Grab a single malt and sit back.  You can thank me later.

I forgot I had ordered this from amazon.uk:

It’s a freaking behemoth! The box had been sitting in my building’s lobby for a week. “Why the fuk doesn’t my neighbor grab their package?”, I wondered. Goes to show; check yer labels, people!

My taste in Black Sabbath must have changed over the years ... i remember I actually threw this album away when I first got it. A friend gave it to me and I hated it.  Listened to it again on CD after years and love it. Go figure

AC/DC's new album, Power Up, has been a surprise.  It sounds perfect.

It had no ups and downs to my ears. Pretty much flattened out. I‘d prefer Powerage over Power Up though.

“Sabotage” gets a lot of shade thrown at it due to the prog-keys of Rick Wakeman. “Hole in the Sky”...sheeit. Who swings harder than Bill Ward?

After watching 20 Feet From Stardom (highly recommended!), I started looking up the performers' music. I listened to Claudia Lennear's album the other day. It's got a great early 70s vibe.
