It’s appointed differently. The 3-hole Duotones had a flat spruce top. This Duotone Custom has an arched top with the f-hole, binding and Victory inlays. The question is one of preference. Do you want a flat top or an arch top with more upscale aesthetic appointments? Either version will play and sound great.

I was considering that as well so it made for an easy decision. I guess it can’t hurt to have one of each right

Three-holers have their fans for good reason but in terms of which is the better guitar, generally speaking, the Custom specs are an improvement.

Just picked up three other guitars in the past month or so. A G&L ASAT Classic, Eastman T486 and a '91 Gibson Studio Lite. Still playing with these new toys and very, very happy with each !!! Three very different and distinct styles of guitar too !!!

They sell quick once posted. Good luck, as I’ll still be looking for a 3 hole.
